Tutorial On Estimating and Costing

This construction video tutorial is specifically designed for Civil Engineering students who will appear in semester 5. The video focuses on estimating and costing.

Initial or approximate construction cost estimation is necessary for evaluating several phases of work of project and for its organizational authorization. It can choose, in the event of commercial projects, either the net income received substantiates the amount invested or not.

The estimated estimate is created from the practical knowledge and cost of related works. The estimate is conducted by a report properly clarifying requirement and effectiveness of the project and with a site or layout plan. A percentage 5 to 10% is granted for contingencies.
